Pastor Tony addresses the second topic of a two part series on the most critical cultural issues of our day: homosexuality.

 

Our mandate
We are the salt of the earth.  And we are to expose the unfruitful deeds of darkness.

Our worldview

1.     Birth- “the wrong orientation?”  Psalm 51:5

2.     Significance- The good deeds of a person do not legitimize his/her immoral behavior
  1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Cor. 5:11
Sexual sin is not a private matter; in the church we are to correct it.
All sexual sin carries unique consequences.

3.     Tolerance- Convictions are NOT prejudices or phobia.
1 Thess. 4:3-5; 1 Cor. 6:10,11; John 1:14; Titus 2:11,12

Homosexuality is not the unpardonable sin. You can be forgiven.
